About this ebook

First time in ebook and paperback, Laurelin Paige delivers a brand new, scorching hot, enemies-to-lovers romance.
"Paige is an absolute master at spinning a passionate and unpredictable love story," - Mary Dube, USAToday HEA

It was Donovan’s idea.

I don’t even know how he got me on board. Sure, I could use a break from the one-night stands and merry-go-round lovers in my bed, but I hadn’t thought that putting a ring on a woman’s finger was the answer.

Especially not that woman.

Elizabeth Dyson needs to marry to get access to her father’s company and take over as president. If I take on the role of groom, she’ll hand over her advertising subsidiary to Reach Inc. the firm I own with Donovan, my supposed best friend.

Problem is that, even though the girl is confident and sexy and brilliant, she doesn’t know the first thing about running an empire. And she’s awfully particular about the wedding plans, even though it’s a FAKE wedding, for all intents and purposes. And we can’t seem to spend more than five minutes together without wanting to tear each other’s hair out.

Worst of all, I can’t stop imagining what it would be like to kiss her.

And soon I’m unsure how much of this business arrangement is just play and how much of it is real.

Book one of two.

"Paige has done it again with another scorching, obsessive read." -- New York Times bestselling author Julia Kent

I have say is Laurelin Paige is a go to author for me. I have loved everything she has written, and pre-order books unseen and I am never disappointed. Laurelin has been very brave with this book by having the audiobook published first. I have devoured every word, as I have a soft spot for Weston. So it took me a while to warm up to Elizabeth, and the way she treated Weston. For the first time in his life he couldn’t charm a woman. I didn’t think I would enjoy anything as much as the Donovan Duet. This is a treat you can’t miss, as with any marriage of convenience, this is to help Elizabeth inherit her father’s company. Elizabeth can’t inherit unless she is married or 29. This is Laurelin at her best, with the quick fire conversations and sexual tension you can cut with a knife. This is written with a dual point of view, which helps us understand much more. It’s no secret this is my favourite way to read or listen as it gives the reader a full picture. Alas we have to wait for book two in the duet to find out how Weston and Elizabeth cope with married life and Elizabeth trying to save her Father’s Company from her cousin.

"I wanted to bite her lip for her. I wanted to tug her into my lap and gnaw on her like a puppy. She was a witch, I tell you. A witch." The ultimate enemies to lovers story!! If you've read Dirty Filthy Boys and Dirty Filthy Men, then you've met Weston King. Not only has he met his match , he may just have found his Queen. Weston King is the ultimate ladies' man. A one-and-done, girl in every port kind of man. Now, his business partner and best friend Donovan needs him to do the unthinkable for the sake of bettering the company. The only consolation is that the whole thing will be fake. She's a witch. They don't agree on anything. Every day is a battle between wanting to strangle her - and wanting to devour every inch of her. At the end of this arrangement, he'll lose her. That can't happen. Should he tell her, or finish this deal as promised, both getting something they want, and let her go? Elizabeth Dyson is set to inherit her late father's company - but only under certain conditions. Either she waits until she turns twenty-nine - and there may not be any company left at the hands of her cousin - or she has to marry. Striking a business deal with Donovan Kincaid, she's now betrothed to the arrogant, irritating, and extremely hot Weston King. He pushes every one of her buttons - the ones that infuriate her, and the ones that leave her in a puddle of need. How long can she keep reminding herself that this is all make-believe while all the while she wants it to be real? Every day is a constant battle between her head and her heart - which one should she listen to? How is she going to survive walking away when this is all over? I absolutely adored Weston and Elizabeth's story! I want more and the next one can't come soon enough!! Never saw that ending coming! If you haven't read this series, what are you waiting for!!

I first loved the playful, yet charming, Weston King when I first met him in Dirty Filthy Rich Men (DFRM), the first book in the Dirty Duet. That series which is told from the heroine's POV, centered around Weston's business partner, Donovan Kincaid. Unlike other spin-off series which usually continue where the prior series leaves off, Dirty Sexy Player (DSP) actually runs a parallel timeline as DFRM, however this story is told from the dual POV of both Weston and our heroine, Elizabeth Dyson. In DSP, we gain insight into Weston's relationship with Sabrina, and we "hear" his thoughts and experience his reactions toward Donovan's manipulations.surrounding the "arranged" marriage/business deal. To ensure the engagement looks real, Weston really has to make some personal sacrifices he struggles to deal with, which makes the push and pull dynamic between Weston and Elizabeth's relationship a fun one to watch. As broody as Donovan is, Weston is more happy go lucky, but he reminds us that he's also a smart business person when he offers to tutor Elizabeth on how to run a successful business. He shares glimpses of a fractured relationship with his parents, though we don't know the full details yet, and he has not shared them with Elizabeth either. I loved and hated the ending since it was unexpected, but I have faith that Ms. Paige will give us a satisfying conclusion in the next book!

About the author

With over 1 million books sold, Laurelin Paige is the NY Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today Bestselling Author of the Fixed Trilogy. She's a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there's kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn't seem to complain, however. When she isn't reading or writing sexy stories, she's probably singing, watching Game of Thrones and the Walking Dead, or dreaming of Michael Fassbender. She's also a proud member of Mensa International though she doesn't do anything with the organization except use it as material for her bio.
