About this ebook

Edward Fasbender is my captor.

Trapped on this island he owns everything on--including, it seems, me.

He told me he would break me, but I thought he meant in the bedroom. It turns out Edward is playing a completely different game.

And he won't stop until he's ruined me.

WOW They say not to judge a book by its cover. Truer words have never been spoken when thinking of Celia. When we first met her she was a witch. Her games she played with peoples lives were just plain cruel. How could a person do that to someone else. Ruin allows us to know why she is the way she is. Without giving any spoilers away but to say it is no wonder she is the way she is. I went from hating her to understanding her. I'm not saying what she did with her games was the right thing to do but I can understand why. She has always felt like nothing now that she is married to Edward he is breaking her. At first I thought that was a bad thing now I am not so sure. I didn't know how much better their story could become from reading the first and its awesome ending with Edward telling Celia that he was going to kill her but OMG did it get better. Every word written with have you hanging on until the end. Bring on Book 3.

5 Star Review of Slay: Ruin (Slay Quartet #2) by Laurelin Paige Edward Fasbender and Celia Werner both know how to manipulate people and circumstances to suit themselves, they know the game, they play to win and take no prisoners. The question is who will win? Having read the first book, in which I found that I wasn’t initially drawn to either characters, I was intrigued to see where Ms. Paige took us in Ruin. Ruin gives us a deeper insight into Edward and his actions as the relationship between Edward and Celia develops. It is an intense, emotional and gripping story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The chemistry between Edward and Celia was intense as the Dom/sub relationship develops. I loved how Laurelin Paige drew us in with the story she wove. Questions will be answered and more will be raised, as Celia and Edward delve deeper into their relationship. This book is like an onion with layers to be peeled away one by one. A roller coaster of a read that is a fast paced story that will draw you in and keep you riveted from the first to the last chapter. Cannot wait for more.

Elena Wolfe and Shane East's performance is so deep and intense, that left my emotions raw and my mind reeling. Besides, the panty-melting British accent is to swoon over it. In addition, their pleasant sounding voices, makes of this audiobook a delightful listening experience. It was just utterly brilliant how they brought this story to life. I just wish, Shane East dialogue had been a bit longer. However, lets pray that he gets a much longer dialogue and chapters in future installments. If you haven't start this mind-blowing series, take my humble advice and don't waste more time. Grab your copy today!! What would you be getting out of this: A passionate story Hot sex Suspense Mystery Lies, Secrets, but above all, a British alpha-male who is to die for. (Poor Celia, because this may become real) I got the chance to read this extraordinary installment, and let me tell you that Edward and Celia's story is full of anguish, passion, secrets, lies, deception, lust, and much more. Is no denying the electric attraction between Edward and Celia. There'll be a revelation about Celia's tortured past that you won't see coming and is going to leave you reeling and speechless. All in all, this has been such an amazing, skillful, gripping, intense, intriguing, and captivating listen/read!
